PAWS – People for Animal Welfare Society – is holding this year’s annual garage sale in Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds Friday, June 24, from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday, June 25, from 8 to 11 am.
For a small fee, shoppers can take a “sneak peek” to buy on Thursday, June 23, from 6 to 8 pm. Proceeds from the sale will be used to benefit animals in Greene County, including veterinary services and educational programs.
PAWS volunteers will accept donations for the garage sale. Donated items may be delivered during the week of the sale through noon on Thursday. Clothing that is in good condition will be accepted as well as clean items and small appliances in working order. Please, no large appliances, TVs, computers or furniture in poor repair.
Donors who have items that need to be picked up call call Cheryl at 515-370-1213 or Marilyn at 515-370-1269. “We can always use volunteers to help sort and/or mark items,” Cheryl said.
